It is our great pleasure to announce the 10th International Workshop on the Biology of Fish Gametes (IWBFG), which will be held in one of the most peaceful Hungarian cities, Balatonalmádi, on 12-14 October, 2026.
The biennial Workshops on the Biology of Fish Gametes have been organized every other year since 2007. Each time, this Workshop provides an excellent possibility for academic and industrial scientists, partners for a discussion of the latest and novel research findings focusing on fish sperm and oocyte biology, gametogenesis, endocrine and molecular control of reproductive processes as well as assisted reproduction technologies such as gamete and germ cell cryopreservation and transplantation. The Workshop attracts the attention of participants not only from European countries but also from the broader scientific world focusing on fish gametes, e.g. Turkey, United States, Brazil, Japan, among others.
During the IWBFG, we provide an excellent possibility for sponsors and exhibitors to meet with scientist coming from academic sector and with industrial partners. Furthermore, we offer you highly scientific topics, stimulating presentations and deep discussions combining with colorful touristic activities around Lake Balaton.
